Soundarya
is a much sought after Bharathanatyam dancer in her genre. Having been
nurtured under the able guidance of guru Smt. Narmada from the
tender age of six, Soundarya has come a long way in carving a niche for
herself with a distinct style of Abhinaya and Nritya. She has learnt the
advanced aspects in Bharathanatyam from guru Kum. B. Bhanumathi.
She performed her Rangapravesham in the year 1989 and has completed the
Vidwath Examination. She did her Masters in Dance from Bangalore University
where she bagged the first rank in the Department of Dance, Drama and
Music.
Currently, she is the recipient of the National Government Scholarship
awarded by the Department of Culture, Government of India. Soundarya has
travelled extensively to the USA and the Netherlands and
has left a lasting aesthetic impression over the audience, with rave reviews
and write-ups in the foreign media.
Aparna
Vaidyanathan
An
approved 'A' Grade artist of Doordarshan and of I.C.C.R.,
Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.
She has passed junior and senior examinations in Bharatnatyam and is now
preparing for her Vidwath under the able guidance of Guru
Narmada, the founder of Shakuntala Nrityalaya.
She has perfomed extensively in India, USA and Canada. Aparna is also
an actress. She has acted in a Telugu film 'Sundarkanda' and
is presently shooting for tele serials.
As a mark of appreciation for excellence in acting, she has been honoured
with Best Actress Awards from prestigious organisations like Kala Sagar,
and Peerless Film and T.V. Awards (Hyderabad). She also choreographs
dance ballets.

Rajendra
They
are the popular young dance couple of Bangalore belonging to the prestigious
Prabhath Kalavidharu family.
For 10 years now, they have carved a niche for themselves as performers
and choreographers. This young dance couple are the outstanding students
of Guru Maya Rao.
The finesse and element of aesthetics in all their performances
have won them appreciation at many festivals the world over.
To keep alive the rich tradition of dance, the couple impart the essence
of Kathak and Bhartanatyam into young and enthusiastic students through
their dance institution.They are the directors of
Abhinava Arts Centre.
